The Key Elements!

One of the questions I'm asked most frequently is, "Samir, what are the key elements of success for a professional broker? Specifically, what should I focus on?"

What a great topic for this week! Regardless of your business model, no matter how you prefer to generate business, here are the standards you must absolutely adopt.

Here are the five key elements that have led to my success and the success of OSE Coaching's clients:

1. I must generate new business every day/week of work. I must understand that the profits I gain from my business are the results of previous activities, and what I do today will affect future results (within 90 to 120 days). Failing to generate new business this week (new leads, appointments, presentations, visits with buyers, etc.) jeopardizes my future profits.

2. I must prequalify 100% of my clients... 100%, without exception. I must realize that my biggest waste of time and money comes from not prequalifying potential buyers and sellers. Even worse, I sometimes prequalify summarily and partially, omitting key questions that would allow me to understand their challenges, needs, and willingness and ability to move forward.

3. I must rigorously follow up with my clients. I must recognize the enormous potential I'm letting go by not following up methodically. The reality is that 70% of my business comes from my follow-ups! These follow-ups not only bring me more contracts but also demonstrate my professionalism and perseverance to my prospective clients.

4. I must consistently deliver powerful presentations. I must understand that when I offer my services to sellers, I must be convincing, confident, and competent. I must be powerful, both physically and metaphorically. I must realize that I won't have a second chance to make a first impression.

5. I must close decisively. I must realize that even if I have an excellent presentation, if I'm unable to close the deal, to ask for the signature, I won't secure the contract. I am a salesperson, and I must learn to close decisively, more than once.

Isn't it time for you to adopt and master these five elements that have contributed to my success?"
