First and foremost, they cannot afford to deal with someone who is incompetent, more so, they work hard for their money and want value for it.
This is a tremendous advantage for you because… your competition will fall by the wayside; let's call it Darwinism. There are some very competent people in our industry... and there are those who lack competence. Worse, there are those who do not seek to improve or adapt.
One great thing about lack of experience is that experience can be gained. You can learn if you choose to… learn to adapt and develop key factors required in order to succeed in any environment. These include learning to work with FSBOs.
There are unfortunately those who lack business know-how. Simply, knowing how to turn a profit from your business! If you have more than 12 months of experience and are not PROFITABLE; meaning, earning more than you spend as well as ensuring adequate revenue for you and your family; you’re missing something.
