Are you type A or type B?
May 2026, if you are reading this newsletter, you have made the decision to renew your license. Realize that you have made a choice to remain in the Real Estate business, you have chosen to continue.
There is no doubt that today’s market is demanding, and you must excel at all levels. Buyers and sellers are certainly present, yet transactions are harder; this is all part of doing business.
For the past few months, as your coach, I get two types of questions: A: How is the Real Estate market? B: What must I do to…?
Those who ask the first question want to know, need to know, if the market is “good” will it get better, are others hurting as much? In short, they want to know if there are any chances of survival.
The second group is focused and determined. They want to know: what’s the next step, how do I fix this, how do I deal with this situation, answer this objection, how can I be more powerful during negotiation, how can I finalize this transaction… you get the picture.
Again, the first group needs to validate their lack of action and production while the others are searching for solutions to reach their goals. What is the key element separating the two groups? Simple: having a total commitment toward a clear goal. Type B brokers know they will succeed, they will persevere, they will win no matter what, and they keep moving forward towards their goals.
If you choose and commit to your goals and set up a plan of action that is powerful and exciting, you will become unstoppable. If you are a Type A, answer this question: how much longer can you continue trying to reinvent yourself and trying quick, easy-fix solutions that do not work? You have chosen to continue on. Realize that what you want more than anything is… to succeed! Yes, success can be taught!
